Delete Your GenieFit Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your GenieFit account and associated data. GenieFit is the AI calorie tracker & fitness app published under the package name com.thefitgenie.geniefit.

How to delete your account in the app

1. Open the GenieFit app and sign in.
2. Go to Profile (or Settings).
3. Choose Delete account (or the equivalent delete option).
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

How to delete by email

If you cannot access the app, email us from your registered email address:

• Email: amritdharaorg@gmail.com
• Subject: Delete GenieFit account
• Include the email address used to register.

We aim to process deletion requests within 24–48 business hours.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, we delete or anonymize associated personal data from active systems, including:

• Account details (name, email, password hash)
• Profile and goals
• Nutrition, workout, water, step, and weight logs
• AI coach chat history linked to your account
• Device / push tokens linked to your account

What may be retained

We may retain limited records where required by law or for legitimate business needs, for example:

• Payment / subscription transaction records required for accounting or dispute resolution
• Security or fraud-prevention logs for a limited period

Retained records are kept only as long as necessary and are not used for marketing.
